The surface quality of 310S stainless steel plate mainly depends on the pickling process after heat treatment. If the surface oxide skin formed by the previous heat treatment process is thick or uneven, pickling can not improve the surface finish and uniformity. Therefore, we should pay full attention to the heating of heat treatment or the surface cleaning before heat treatment.

If the thickness of the oxide skin on the surface of the stainless steel plate is uneven, the surface finish of the base metal under the thick place and the thin place is also different, and the dissolution of the oxide skin on the surface during pickling is different from the corrosion degree of the base metal on the attached part of the oxide skin by acid. Therefore, the surface of the steel plate is uneven. Therefore, it is necessary to uniformly form oxide scale during heat treatment heating. To meet this requirement, it is necessary to pay attention to the following questions: if oil is attached to the surface of the workpiece when heating the stainless steel plate, the oxide skin thickness of the oil attached part is different from that of some other oxide skin, and carburization will occur. Some of the oxidized base metal carburized will be seriously corroded by acid. The oil droplets ejected from the heavy oil burner * * * * during initial incineration will also have a great impact if they are attached to the workpiece. It will also be affected when the fingerprint of the operator is attached to the workpiece. Therefore, the bath staff should not touch the stainless steel parts with their hands, and do not make the parts stained with new oil. It is necessary to wear clean gloves.

If there is lubricating oil attached to the surface of 310S stainless steel plate during cold processing, it is necessary to fully degrease it in trichloroethylene degreaser and caustic soda solution, then clean it with warm water, and then conduct heat treatment.

If there are sundries on the surface of stainless steel plate, especially when organic matter or ash is attached to the workpiece, heating will certainly affect the oxide scale.

The difference of atmosphere in stainless steel plate furnace is different. The composition of oxide scale will also change, which is also the reason for the non-uniformity after pickling. Therefore, during heating, the atmosphere of all parts in the furnace must be the same. Therefore, it is also necessary to think about the cycle of atmosphere.

In addition, if the bricks and asbestos constituting the bench used to heat the workpiece are rich in moisture, the moisture * * * * will transpiration during heating. Some of the atmospheres that directly touch the water vapor will be different from others, and the composition of oxide skin is certainly different. Therefore, the objects directly touched with the heated workpiece need to be fully dried before they can be used. However, if it is placed at room temperature after drying, the moisture will still condense on the surface of the workpiece under the condition of high humidity. Therefore, * * * * is dried before use.

If some parts of 310S stainless steel plate have residual oxide skin before heat treatment, the residual parts with oxide skin and the parts without oxide skin after heating will show the difference in oxide skin thickness and composition, resulting in uneven appearance after pickling. Therefore, we should not only pay attention to the final heat treatment, but also pay full attention to * * * * heat treatment and pickling.
